The Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office VIII conducted the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program Implementation Review for year 2015 at Sabin Resort and Hotel, Ormoc City, last February 10-12, 2016.

“Risk management is a proactive measure towards uncertain situations that may occur along program implementation,” shared by Regional Program Coordinator Marichu Bustillos.

Meanwhile, the SWDI is a standard DSWD assessment, planning, monitoring, and evaluation tool in the case management process of poor households, primarily the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program beneficiaries.

Also, it determines the effectiveness of the interventions and other social services. In SWDI tool, the level of well-being is determined by the indicators of economic sufficiency which is measured by employment, income and social security membership, while the social adequacy is measured by health and nutrition, sanitation and hygiene, housing and other living conditions, educational status of household members and their socio-cultural activities.###
