The Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office VIII in partnership with the Philippine Information Agency recently conducted the “DSWD May Malasakit” Press Conferences  in all provinces of the Eastern Visayas Region. Topics covered were updates on the implementation of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps), Unconditional Cash Transfer (UCT) Program, Social Pension Program, and testimonials from beneficiaries.

DSWD staff, program beneficiaries, and partner stakeholders were able to share with the press people various updates, success stories, and good practices on the implementation and convergence efforts of the said programs and services, to eventually solicit support from all stakeholders and the public in general and keep them well-informed and empowered to become program advocates themselves. #DSWDMayMalasakit
