Above is the data of LGU-led implementation in Region 8 under the Kalahi CIDSS program which is being implemented in 23 municipalities across 209 barangays.

The number of  target household beneficiaries are 40, 530 and 10 ,132 are Pantawid beneficiaries.  There are 11, 643 senior citizens and 25 Indigenous Peoples (IP) participated in barangay assemblies.

The Kalahi CIDSS program seeks the involvement of poor, vulnerable and marginalized groups in the community through decision making, planning and issues on resource allocation and use. This means getting a etter understanding of the needs of poor.

As to date,  10, 736 arerecorded as Community Volunteers in the said implementation. Kalahi CIDSS through Community-Driven Development strategy, empowers the communities as people are no longer the silent spectators in governance. Rather, they have become active partners of local government units towards pushing themselves to the margins of development.

Twenty-two of 209 sub-projects out were already completed. The sub-projects are but the results of a compassionate and collective action of the communities and LGUs.
