DSWD Eastern Visayas Regional Director Grace Q. Subong together with DSWD Field Office VIII employees celebrate the National Peace Consciousness Month with a theme, “Pagkakaisa at Paghilom: Isang Bansa para sa Kapayapaan.”
Presidential Proclamation No. 675, s. 2004, declared the month of September as the National Peace Consciousness Month in order to instill greater consciousness and understanding of the importance of comprehensive peace processes and national peace efforts among Filipino people.
