This August, embodying the theme of Inclusivity and Sustainability, DSWD FO8 staff display the vibrant colors, and the rich cultures of Southeast Asia by wearing national outfits from the member-nations of ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations). From the tranquil serenity of Laos, to the bustling energy of Singapore, and with the loving embrace of home in the Philippines, DSWD’s Angels in Red Vests proudly reflected these cultures.

Aside from this, DSWD FO8 also opened its ASEAN gallery, which displays a brief introduction of the countries which joined together to form ASEAN, as well as several national costumes, giving both employees and visitors an opportunity to learn more about the organization.

With more activities lined up in the coming weeks, DSWD FO8 fully commits towards this year’s celebration of the ASEAN Month. Together in Progress!
