With the ongoing efforts of DSWD Field Office 8 in empowering communities to combat the impact of climate change, the 33 beneficiaries under Project LAWA in Brgy. Malobago San Roque, Northern Samar, recently celebrated a successful harvest of 205 kilos of tilapia from their community-managed fishponds.

The achievement marks a significant milestone for the local farmers, who have been part of the DSWD’s livelihood program aimed at providing sustainable income and food security to rural households.
