LOOK: The Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office VIII has successfully distributed a variety of nutritious food items to 10 municipalities in Northern Samar as part of the ongoing Supplementary Feeding Program.
This initiative aims to address food insecurity and improve the health and nutritional status of the overall target of the children across the region.
The goal of the department is to provide supplementary feeding to 47,450 children across the region, of which 7,070 come from the said province, ensuring they receive proper nutrition and help combat malnutrition.
