In a continued effort to provide immediate and sustainable assistance to vulnerable sectors, the Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office 8, in partnership with the Department of Labor and Employment, launched the ongoing payout of PROJECT LAWA at BINHI in convergence with the TUPAD program, benefiting 300 residents in MacArthur, Leyte.
The payout covers wages for beneficiaries worth P8,400 each after completing twenty days of community work.
Through these convergence efforts, beneficiaries will not only be provided much-needed income but also foster environmental protection and community resilience.
The ongoing payout activity is expected to conclude within the day, ensuring that all identified beneficiaries receive their wages promptly.
