Job Summary:
Under the general supervision of the Accountant III, the Administrative Assistant III (Senior Bookkeeper) generates and submits monthly and quarterly Financial Reports; updates monitoring data of checks; prepares Fund 03 report to be submitted at the Central Office; prepares Check Disbursement Journal; encodes, prints and files daily Journal Entry Voucher and prepares Trial Balance, Financial Statements, General Ledgers and Subsidiary Ledgers.
Job Outputs:
- Monthly and Quarterly reports under Fund 01;
- Database of available, liquidated and unliquidated checks;
- Fund 03 reports;
- Fund 101 Check Disbursement Journal;
- Journal Entry Voucher under Fund 101; and
- Trial Balance, Financial Statements, General Ledgers and Subsidiary Ledgers.
Primary Tasks / Terms of Reference:
- Generate quarterly Financial Reports under Fund 01 to Central Office, COA and other oversight agencies (FUND 101);
- Generate & submit monthly report under Fund 01 to Central Office, COA and other oversight agencies (FUND 101);
- Update monitoring data of the available checks, liquidated and unliquidated fund transfer to the LGU of Social Pension Program;
- Prepare Fund 03 (Fund 151) report and submit to Central Office;
- Prepare Check Disbursement Journal under Fund 101;
- Encode, print and file daily Journal Entry Voucher under Fund 101;
- Submission of daily recorded Check Disbursement Journal with attached Journal Entry Voucher on a monthly basis to COA;
- Prepare the Trial Balance;
- Prepare the Financial Statements, General Ledgers and Subsidiary Ledgers; and
- Perform other related tasks as directed by Section Head, Division Chief or higher authorities.
