Education: Bachelor’s degree relevant to the job

Education With Bachelor’s Degree in IT, statistics, math or related field
Training: With 8 hours training on any of the following: computer operation, database operation or GIS
Experience: With at least 2 years of experience in any of the following: monitoring and evaluation, research, database management, GIS operation

Job Summary: Under the general supervision of the Regional M&E Specialist with latitude for the exercise of independent judgment, the M&E Officer III for Database Management is in charge of managing the regional database and geo-database system, processing regional data, providing Management Information Systems (MIS) assistance to the RPMO and coaching of other program staff on database management.
Job Outputs:
- Updated regional database and geo-database;
- No. of DQA conducted;
- No. of “tickets” reported to NPMO fixed;
- No. of MDE Tactic Session conducted;
- No. of SPs Geotagging conducted;
- No. of Geotagged photos reviewed for uploading;
- Database reviewed and findings feedbacked to ACTs/MCTs;
- MFO, Congressional, HPMES, PMES, Regional Program Accomplishment, Quarterly,Semestral, Annual Reports;
- Unit DBs functional;
- Dashboards updated and used by Management;
- Tactic Sessions with other Units and MDE Conference conducted, PGIS Training;
- PGIS used by the communities and Maps provided to LGUs.
Primary Tasks:
- In charge of day to day operation of the regional database system including encoding of regionally generated data;
- Provide support in geo-tagging activities including technical assistance and actual field work;
- Conduct quality review of submitted databases from municipalities (ACT/MCTs);
- Consolidate and process operational and results-based NCDDP data to come up with regional summaries and to extract information needed for regular and on demand reports;
- Maintain and update the inter-unit database and information sharing system including the dashboard for managers;
- Provide technical assistance on MIS to RPMO, ACT and Municipal Database Encoders;
- Facilitate conduct of PGIS at the communities;
- Perform other related tasks needed by the Program.
