PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES REGIONWIDE SUPPORT NATIONAL GREENING PROGRAM

KALAHI-CIDSS PAMANA Holds Healing Session for Trauma Victims of Armed Conflict

Lola Pilar, 79 years old, was the oldest of the participants of the Kalahi-CIDSS PAMANA Healing Session. Her son was killed because he was suspected as member of the New People’s Army (NPA) way back in 2006.Calbayog City – The Kapit-Bisig Laban sa Kahirapan-Comprehensive and Integrated Delivery of Social Services (KALAHI-CIDSS) Payapa at Masaganang Pamayanan (PAMANA) conducted a healing session for trauma victims of armed conflict in San Jose de Buan, Samar on July 3-5. The three-day activity was held in I’s Plant Hotel and Restaurant of this city.

A big sign was posted at the Exhibit of the DSWD Field Office Eight, crying for support to break all barriers for persons with disabilities, in last year's celebration of the National Disability Prevention and Rehabilitation Week held at the Robinson's Place-Tacloban.July 17 to 23 of this year marks the 34th National Disability Prevention and Rehabilitation Week.
