This year’s 1st Quarter Regional Advisory Council (RAC) meeting of the DSWD Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) FOVIII was held on May 24, Friday, at the Ironwood Hotel, Tacloban City.

Division Chief Paula Unay presided over the meeting wherein she highlighted the significance of the council’s continuous support in attaining the program’s goal–uplifting the well-being of the Pantawid households .

OXFAM Pilipinas, DSWD, UNICEF Philippines conduct Model Building for Child Protection Systems Strengthening (CPSS) for Child Early and Forced Marriage and Unions (CEFMU) at Costa Brava Hotel, Tacloban City from 27 May 2024 until 30 May 2024.

This is in line with the implementation of Republic Act No. 11596 or the Prohibition of Child Marriage Law, the law prohibiting and criminalizing child marriage.
