Matagumpay na naisagawa ang kauna-unahang pag-aani ng gulay sa ilalim ng implementasyon ng Project LAWA at BINHI ng DSWD Field Office VIII sa Barangay Caridad, Salcedo, Eastern Samar.

Nakaani ang mga partner-beneficiaries ng 22 kilong sitaw, 47 kilong upo at iba pang halamang gulay tulad ng ampalaya, pipino, at sili mula sa kanilang communal garden. Patunay ito na nagsisimula nang magbunga ang pagsisikap ng komunidad sa tulong ng proyekto.
