DSWD SLP Drafts Guidelines to Support Livelihood of PDLs in Leyte Prison

The Department of Social Welfare and Development’s Sustainable Livelihood Program (DSWD-SLP) is drafting special guidelines to provide livelihood support to Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs) at the Leyte Regional Prison (LRP) in Abuyog, Leyte.

The program aims to build partnerships that promote social protection and justice by offering livelihood opportunities to PDLs.

DSWD FO8 Champions First-Ever EODB Month Celebration

The Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office VIII (DSWD FO VIII) held a two-day culminating activity in line with the national observance of Ease of Doing Business (EODB) Month this May 2025, at the DSWD FO VIII compound in Candahug, Palo, Leyte.

The Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office VIII-National Household Targeting Section (DSWD FO VIII-NHTS) provided technical assistance and conducted 4Ps F1KD registration through i-Registro in Javier, Leyte, and Maripipi, Biliran from May 20-23, 2025.

This continuous registration supports the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) First 1000 Days conditional cash grant.
