Tacloban City, Leyte (February 12, 2014) – To update the public on its ongoing relief, early recovery, and rehabilitation efforts for survivors of Typhoon Yolanda in Eastern Visayas,  the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) launched recently a radio program  over local station DYVL.The program which will air every Saturday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. will discuss updates on the continued disaster relief operations, share testimonials of survivors on how they are being assisted by the government, respond to queries and complaints sent through text hotlines, and interview  government officials and other stakeholders providing assistance to the survivors.
