Tacloban City, Leyte – The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) received recently some 5,000 metric tons of rice from the Thailand Government through the efforts of the Department of Agriculture (DA) and the National Food Authority (NFA) for Typhoon Yolanda survivors in Eastern Visayas.

Dir. Ramos assured the Thai officials that the donation will reach the disaster-affected families in the region. ###
