DSWD Eastern Visayas released 2,500 additional Family Food Packs (FFPs) over the weekend as part of the ongoing relief operations for typhoon Odette-affected families. Of this number, 1,500 FFPs were released to Mahaplag, Leyte while 1,000 were released to Malitbog, Southern Leyte.

Since the start of its relief operations last December 17, DSWD has released 157,440 total FFPs worth P93,086,151.52 to 30 affected Local Government Units. Also, the agency has released various Non-Food Relief Items (NFIs) worth P12,637,928. These NFIs include hygiene kits, sleeping kits, family kits, collapsible water containers and laminated tarpaulin sacks. Meanwhile, the agency continues its relief operations.
