The Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office VIII through the Disaster Response Management Division, conducted a preparatory consultation and orientation meeting for the implementation of Project LAWA at BINHI and TUPAD convergence.
𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐋𝐀𝐖𝐀 𝐚𝐭 𝐁𝐈𝐍𝐇𝐈 (𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐝𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐖𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐍𝐮𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐝) is a proactive intervention and solution of the DSWD to fight hunger, alleviate poverty, and alleviate the economic vulnerability of communities, by addressing water scarcity and food insecurity exacerbated by climate change and natural disasters. This is a project under the Risk Resiliency Program through Cash-For-Training and Work (RRP-CFTW).
