832 Pantawid Households attended the Pugay-Tagumpay Ceremonial Graduation at the Sports Complex, Calbayog City, after successfully reaching the Self-Sufficiency Level of Well-being for their hard work, perseverance and support from the national government, local government units, civil society organizations, business sectors, and academe.
The activity was graced by Hon. Raymond Uy, City Mayor , Hon. Emmelly Olaje, 1st District Board Member, and the City Councilors and Department Heads.
Further, partner representatives from the Northwest Samar State University and Metro Ormoc Community Multi-Purpose Cooperative (OCCCI) witnessed the ceremonial graduation. Meanwhile, Paula Unay, Chief of Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program Management Division was also present during the activity.
Through the Pugay-Tagumpay, Pantawid household-graduates are officially turned over to the local government units for sustained support interventions as part of the aftercare programs and services in partnership with national government agencies, national government organizations, civil society organizations, and private and business sector. These aftercare programs and services include but are not limited to skills training, education, and livelihood.
