The Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office VIII (DSWD FO VIII) distributed the Cash-for-Training and Work (CFTW) pay under Project LAWA at BINHI (Local Adaptation to Water Access and Breaking Insufficiency through Nutritious Harvest for the Impoverished) to 185 partner-beneficiaries in Maslog, Eastern Samar.
Each recipient received PHP7,500, which provided financial support and helped improve local livelihoods amid climate challenges. Project LAWA at BINHI CFTW program aims to offer financial assistance while also promoting skill development, community growth, and best practices in sustainable livelihood projects for beneficiaries in the municipality.
