As part of the preparations for KALAHI-CIDSS’ upcoming project, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office 8 – Eastern Visayas, through the Kapit-Bisig Laban sa Kahirapan – Comprehensive and Integrated Delivery of Social Services (KALAHI-CIDSS), took part in the simultaneous Stakeholders’ Consultation for the Panahon ng Pagkilos: PH Community Resilience Project (PCRP) in the Municipality of Tolosa, Leyte, today, February 26, 2025.
Officials and representatives from the Barangay and Local Government Units of Tolosa, Leyte, stakeholders, and community volunteers participated in the said activity. Included in the consultation meeting is the discussion on the objectives of the Panahon ng Pagkilos project, simultaneous discussions and open forum in the local Waray dialect.
The KALAHI-CIDSS National Program Management Office, representatives from World Bank, as well as representatives from the KALAHI-CIDSS Regional Program Management Office 8 spearheaded the activity. The said consultation meeting aims to provide necessary information to KALAHI-CIDSS’ partner-stakeholders as well as community volunteers on the key objectives of this new project; seeking environmental sustainability through discussions and recommendations from participants to ensure success of implementation.
