As part of ADB’s webinar series called the “Build Back Better Sector Dialogues,” the KALAHI-CIDSS Regional Program Management Office presented a case study on KALAHI-CIDSS NCDDP WASH Interventions focusing on the program’s Water System Subproject in Brgy. Casili-on, Salcedo, Eastern Samar on 27 February 2025.

Spearheaded by KALAHI-CIDSS Deputy Regional Program Manager Engr. Gerardo C. Peneda Jr., the said case study was presented by Community Development Officer III John Vincent Cillo and highlighted the critical role of the said subproject in post-disaster recovery at the community level and its alignment to the Build Back Better (BBB) principles.

The session was inaugurated by Senior Director Norio Saito of the ADB Water and Urban Development Sector Office.

ADB’s webinar series intends to showcase key lessons from their publication series on climate and disaster resilient post disaster recovery.
