DSWD Field Office 8 takes part in the Laboratoryo, Konsulta, at Gamot Para sa Lahat (LAB4All) Service Fair in the Municipality of Basey, Samar. Together with various National Government Agencies, DSWD will be bringing its services to the public.
DSWD will be distributing PHP3,000 cash relief assistance to 1,500 beneficiaries through the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situations (AICS) program. Each beneficiary will also be receiving material assistance in the form of a Family Food Pack, which contains six kilos of NFA rice, five sachets of coffee, five sachets of cereal energy drink, and 10 canned goods.
Meanwhile, two Sustainable Livelihood Program Associations (SLPAs) will also be awarded livelihood grants from DSWD’S Sustainable Livelihood Program.
