The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office 8 – Eastern Visayas, through the Kapit-Bisig Laban sa Kahirapan – Comprehensive and Integrated Delivery of Social Services – Kapangyarihan at Kaunlaran sa Barangay (KALAHI-CIDSS-KKB) Oplan Pag-abot Program Modality, in collaboration with Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) Regional Training Center (RTC), aims to enhance the technical knowledge and skills of community volunteers, empowering them to be more productive and self-sufficient.
This initiative aligns with the KALAHI-CIDSS program approach, which focuses on poverty reduction through participatory community-driven development.
By partnering with TESDA RTC, the program provides specialized training in various vocational and technical fields. This enhances the capabilities of community volunteers, equipping them with practical skills that can be used for livelihood opportunities, infrastructure projects, and community development initiatives.
