As part of the Risk Resiliency Program Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation, DSWD FO-8 conducted a Cash for Work monitoring in Capul, Northern Samar.

Partner-beneficiaries of the said municipality engaged in clearing irrigation in agricultural areas to prevent blockages and maintain efficient water delivery, which contributes to healthy crop growth and higher yields.

This initiative is still part of the program’s objective, which is to capacitate communities to cope with the impacts of climate change by helping them with strategies that will increase their water and food production through sustainable farming practices.
