DSWD Eastern Visayas conducted a Consultation Meeting on the implementation of the Walang Gutom Program on April 8, 2025, in Catarman, Northern Samar.
The activity highlighted the importance of strong collaboration between the FO VIII – Walang Gutom Program and Local Government Units (LGUs), This also served as a platform to raise issues and challenges encountered in the implementation, and to collectively identify resolutions for the continuous improvement of the program.
Regional Program Management Office (RPMO) staff, Local Social Welfare and Development Officers (LSWDOs), Municipal Nutrition Action Officers and Community Engagement Coordinators (CECs) from various municipalities in Northern Samar participated in the said event.
