The Disaster Response Management Division (DRMD) of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office VIII is on standby to respond to any incidents that may require immediate assistance during the observance of Holy Week, or ‘Semana Santa.’
This action is part of DSWD’s duty to provide timely support to individuals and families affected by emergencies, as mandated under Republic Act 10121 the or Philippine Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Act of 2010.
