Partner-beneficiaries of the Department of Social Welfare and Development’s Project Local Adaptation to Water Access and Breaking Insufficiency through Nutritious Harvest for the Impoverished (LAWA at BINHI) in Brgy. Getigo Lope De Vega, Northern Samar have successfully harvested pechay from their community gardens. The harvested vegetables were sold by the beneficiaries, allowing them to earn income and support their needs.
Project LAWA at BINHI aims to build climate and disaster-resilient communities by addressing water scarcity and food insecurity, particularly in impoverished areas.
