The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office VIII and Southern Leyte State University (SLSU) formalized a partnership to enhance the capabilities of Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) Associations through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signed today, June 2, at Kuting Reef Resort in Macrohon, Southern Leyte.

DSWD Field Office VIII was represented by Regional Director Grace Q. Subong, while SLSU was represented by University President Jude A. Duarte.

Under the partnership, SLSU will assist DSWD by providing training and technical support to organized SLPAs.

The agreement covers joint efforts in capacity building, resource sharing, documentation, and monitoring and evaluation of activities.
