The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office VIII in partnership with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Regional Office VIII through the “Project Angel Tree” joins the international observance of the World Day Against Child Labor to raise awareness on the said advocacy on the protection of children.
In this light, our SHIELD Against Child Labor Program has placed donation boxes in both DSWD FO VIII Magsaysay and Candahug offices for school supplies, grocery packs, toys, and anything to be given to the identified child laborers in Leyte.
By participating in this donation drive which will last until June 8, 2022, we earnestly hope to bring smiles to the children’s faces and hope to their hearts.
