In response to the effects brought by the 5.8 magnitude earthquake, DSWD’s Disaster Response Management Division conducted a meeting today together with the Local Government Unit of Liloan, Southern Leyte.
The primary agenda is to ensure the delivery of DSWD’s commitment to provide family food packs and assorted non-food items to families affected by the earthquake in the municipality.
Close coordination and monitoring are still ongoing in some areas in Southern Leyte, and staff are ready to assist as the need arises.
