JUST IN: DSWD Eastern Visayas released 163 Family Food Packs (FFPs) and 120 bottles of water today during its initial response operations for Local Government Units affected by the recent 5.8 magnitude earthquake.
As of 5PM today, DSWD has released 43 FFPs to the municipality of Liloan, and 120 FFPs and 120 bottles of water to San Francisco, both in the province of Southern Leyte. Overall, the agency released P165,139.92 worth of assistance.
Meanwhile, the agency continues its assessment and coordination with affected LGUs and is prepared to respond to requests for augmentation.
