In line with the mandate of the department, which is to assist families in recovering from the effects of shear line, the DSWD Field Office-8 remains committed to providing relief augmentation support throughout the region.
In coordination with the Local Government Unit and Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office, a total of 2,000 family food packs have been distributed to families affected by the shear line in San Miguel, Leyte.
