In a prestigious and memorable celebration, the Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office 8 held the 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 𝐏𝐚𝐠𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐥𝐚 𝐬𝐚 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐊𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐲𝐨𝐧 𝐬𝐚 𝐁𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐧 (𝐏𝐚𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐊𝐨 𝐬𝐚 𝐁𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐧) 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬 on March 26, 2025, at the People’s Center and Library in Tacloban City.

Present at the awarding ceremony were DSWD Assistant Secretary for the Policy and Plans Group Rodolfo Santos, DSWD FO VIII Regional Director Grace Q. Subong, Assistant Regional Director for Operations Antonio Dolaota, and 120 awardees from Provincial and Local Government Units (P/LGUs), represented by their Local Chief Executives, Local Social Welfare and Development Officers, and other representatives.

The PaNata Ko sa Bayan Awards aim to recognize individuals, groups, and organizations whose “panata” or vow is to share their resources, time, and efforts to provide better opportunities for disadvantaged sectors and foster inclusive growth.
