The family of the late Jenia Lim, DSWD Administrative Assistant II, receives the “Parangal sa Lingkod Bayani” award from the Civil Service Commission (CSC) during the recent 1st Congress on Fortifying Service Excellence and Fighting Corruption awarding ceremony at the Bureau of Internal Revenue Function Hall, Government Center, Palo, Leyte.

Lim lost her life on November 8, 2013, in pursuit of her functions as a worker in the field of social services and as a member of the DSWD Disaster Quick Response Team.

Her husband, Wilmer, and daughter, Hannah, received the said award including the P100,000.00 cash prize.

They were joined by CSCRO VIII Regional Director Victoria Esber, CSC Commissioner Robert Martinez, DSWD Assistant Regional Director Restituto Macuto, and DSWD Personnel Unit Head Bece Oliverio.
