“First, I want to thank God for the blessings He gave me and to all of us who are here for this very special event. I want to thank also the staff and the people who are involved in the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program. Before, hope is nowhere, but thanks to Pantawid Pamilya, hope is here now.
There are a lot of trials and problems we encounter and we need to pass through these adversities in life for us to move forward and to survive. In our situation, we need some people, some organizations, and programs like the PANTAWID PAMILYANG PILIPINO PROGRAM which really has a strong impact in our lives and in our country as a whole.
My parents are doing their best to send us to school. My father is a driver and a farmer and my mother has a lot of sidelines such as selling clothes and various food and does laundry and others. When this program had been approved by the government, it helped a lot of people and families. In fact, malaki talaga ang naitulong nito sa amin; nakadagdag ito sa mga pangangailangan namin sa pag- aaral at sa bahay namin.
I believe that “EDUCATION is the key to success”. One of the purpose of Pantawid Pamilya is to help the poor and their family, and also for their children to go to school. I am very happy that I’m one of the members of the Pantawid Pamilya Pilipino Program because it helped me in my studies and this will be my stepping stone to achieve my goals in life. I guess I am not the only one who is happy and thankful, but all of the members of this program.
Sa mundong iniikot natin, we encounter many problems and this serve as our experience. To all the members, staff, employees and to the government thank you so much for having this program and helping us!” (JUDITH A. TOMENIO, Culaba)
