This is how DSWD’s staff described the situation. However, despite the challenges, DSWD continues to provide relief goods to two island barangays (Brgy. Buenavista and Brgy. Ligaya) in the municipality of Rosario, Northern Samar. From lifting and loading the relief goods into boats, to organizing and distributing, DSWD staff have answered the call of duty to provide assistance to the families who need it.
As of December 16, they were able to reach the said barangays and successfully distribute 500 Family Food Packs, 400 malongs and 250 tarpaulins in Rosario.
