“Starting this week, we can initially pay the salaries of our 1,296 LISTAHANAN enumerators hired by the DSWD on January of this year. That totals to more than Php19 M,” Officer-In-Charge of the Policy and Plans Division, Carol Gerilla, disclosed. She added that, “while we understand the plight of our workers, the processing of outputs was not an easy task. Many of the so-called Household Assessment Forms (HAFS) were not successfully encoded due to some errors in the assessment and were returned to the enumerators for further review and re-assessment.”

An enumerator gets paid based on the HAFs successfully encoded, verified and accepted by the system.

Last week, our 174 Encoders and 94 verifiers were released of their salaries.

DSWD is preparing for round three assessment of poor households nationwide. In Region VIII, there are a total of 373,071 households assessed as poor in the second round.

The Listahanan is a database of poor and non-poor households which uses a transparent, efficient, and scientific targeting system. It can be used in the selection of beneficiaries of social protection programs. #DSWDMayMalasakit
