Kalahi-CIDSS inaugurates first housing project in the Philippines

A total of 65 Kalahi-CIDSS Disaster Risk Reduction Mitigating Housing units funded by the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) were inaugurated and awarded to family beneficiaries of Brgy. Balatson in Burauen, Leyte early morning of September 2, 2016.

“This is a dream come true. All our sacrifices and tears are worth it and we are very thankful”, said Brgy. Chairperson Chona Maurillo during her welcome speech.

DSWD FO VIII – PYAP celebrates 42 years, holds annual workshop, elects officers

CALBAYOG CITY – To commemorate 42 years of its existence, Region VIII’s Pag-asa Youth Association of the Philippines, Inc.
