Tacloban City, Leyte- Laughter filled the crowded People’s Center as more than 5,500 Pantawid Pamilya beneficiaries, wives, husbands, and children from all over the region, gathered to celebrate the Pantawid Pamilya National Family Day and Convergence Caravan last September 28, 2014.

“Ang KALAHI CIDSS-NCDDP para sa akin ay hindi lang sa infra, hindi lang sa proyekto. HIndi lang mga kalsada, tulay o school building ang tinatayo ng programang ito. Pati kaming mga ‘tao’, naitayo uli kami sa aming mga paa. Ngayon marunong na kaming magdesisyon hindi lamang sa aming sarili maging para sa brgy. Kaya ko pala kahit wala akong pinag-aralan. Kaya ko pala ang magbago.”
