After requests for augmentation from Mayor Avestruz, DSWD staff successfully distributed relief items at Barugo, Leyte.
Barugo withdrew 1,000 family food packs yesterday morning, and DSWD staff distributed the FFPs later that day in the affected municipality.
DSWD staff distributed a total of 992 family food packs – 115 in Brgy. Domogdog, 437 in Minuhang, 160 in Balud,
110 in Duka, and 170 in Guindaohan.
These FFPs augment the relief goods already provided by the first responders, the LGU.
