On December 24, Salcedo was the first municipality where Typhoon Ursula made landfall.
DSWD successfully distributed 597 FFPs in the municipality after receiving a request for augmentation. As per agreement with the LGU, families with totally damaged houses were prioritized.
These FFPs augment the relief efforts being conducted by the first responders, the LGU.
Based on reports received, the LGU had alrradt given relief to several coastal barangays.
