Look: In its ongoing relief operations for the families affected by typhoon Ursula, DSWD recently distributed relief items in Naval, Biliran. Working through the weekend, DSWD staff were able to distribute 669 Family Food Packs (FFPs) and 669 blankets to 26 barangays in Naval. Over-all, DSWD has released 1,969 FFPs to the entire province.
As of today, DSWD has already released relief items worth P18,960,564.72 across the Region, while the first responders, the Local Government Units have collectively distributed P8,998,293.06 in aid. Currently, DSWD operations are still ongoing and will continue as LGUs request for augmentation.
