LOOK: Staff from the DSWD Sub Field Office in Eastern Samar embarked on a 3-hour hike on a muddy and slippery terrain to reach Brgy. San Isidro, Quinapondan, Eastern Samar to join other government agencies in the “Serbisyo Caravan” conducted on May 12, 2021.

DSWD distributed financial assistance through its Assistance for Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) to 27 families endorsed by the Office of the President.

This is part of the government’s Retooled Community Support Program (RSCP) known as “Serbisyo Caravan” which aims to address identified issues of the community by closing the governance and development gaps, providing the community their needs and putting an end to the insurgency.

The DSWD team was led by the Social Welfare and Development (SWAD) Team Leader for Eastern Samar, Edizon Cinco.
