DSWD recently sent a team to Palompon, Leyte to verify the eligibility of 64 beneficiaries who were not able to receive their emergency subsidy of the Social Amelioration Program (SAP) in the April 28 payout.

They were validated on May 5-6, 2021, and DSWD has yet to schedule for their payout.

The names included in the list of eligible beneficiaries are replacements of Bayanihan 2 beneficiaries who were previously included but later found to be ineligible.

In the clean list produced by DSWD, there were 116 names that went through a stringent deduplication process to ensure that those in the list have not received grants from other government agencies.

Of this number, 52 beneficiaries have already received their emergency assistance.
