The DSWD provided two (2) family food packs to each of the seven (7) families, consisting of 32 individuals, who arrived at Romualdez Airport in Tacloban City on July 2.

The provision of family food packs aims to sustain the family beneficiaries during the first few days of their transition as they return from Metro Manila to their home municipalities.

In Eastern Visayas, a total of six individuals and 31 families were already provided with food packs since the resumption of dispatch operations on May this year.

DSWD is among the frontline agencies assisting BP2 beneficiaries in their endeavor to restart their lives in the province.
