The DSWD Field Office VIII launched the Listahanan 3 or the National Household Targeting System for Poverty Reduction (NHTS-PR) data results and latest profile of the poor families in Region VIII last December 2022 at The Oriental Hotel, Palo, Leyte.
The launching was attended by DSWD employees, government officials, National Government Agencies (NGAs), Non-Government Organizations (NGOs) and various DSWD partners and stakeholders.
Listahanan 3 database of DSWD Field Office VIII was able to determine 365,086 poor households from the 848,662 total households assessed in the region.
With the launching of the latest results of Listahanan, the DSWD Field Office VIII is already formally open to data sharing partnerships to allow stakeholders to gain access to the Listahanan 3 database in Eastern Visayas. With the use of scientific method and standardized criteria in identifying who and where the poor are, the Listahanan 3 database will serve as the data users’ latest guide in identifying potential beneficiaries of their social protection programs and services.

To ensure that the information in the Listahanan database will be protected, the database is only made available based on strict data-sharing guidelines and only through a Memorandum of Agreement between the Department and the requesting party in compliance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012.
