TINGNAN: Dumating ngayong araw ang 6,500 family food packs (FFPs) sa Ormoc Port lulan ng heavy landing craft, BRP Batak (LC-299) ng Philippine Navy.
Taos-puso ang pasasalamat ng DSWD Field Office VIII sa mga partner agencies: Visayas Disaster Resource Center (VDRC), Regional Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council Eastern Visayas (RDRRMC 8 ), Office of Civil Defense Regional Office 8 (OCD 8 ), Office of Civil Defense Regional Office 7 (OCD 7), Philippine Ports Authority (PPA), City Government of Ormoc, AFP Visayas Command, Philippine Army, Philippine Navy, Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) at Philippine National Police (PNP) sa pagbibigay ng assistance sa matagumpay na unloading at transport ng nasabing relief items.
Inilaan ng DSWD ang mga FFPs bilang resource augmentation support sa mga lokal na pamahalan ng Dolores, Arteche, Borongan City, General MacArthur at Maydolong sa probinsya ng Eastern Samar.
