IN PHOTOS: DSWD Field Office VIII conducted an orientation and coordination meeting with the Provincial Local Government Unit (PLGU) of Southern Leyte for the upcoming implementation of the Cash-for-Training/Work (CFT/W) under Project LAWA at BINHI.
As one of the provinces chosen for the project, the agency ensured its smooth rollout by holding meetings and maintaining constant coordination with local officials, specially since it will be the pilot implementation in the region.
This project is part of the Risk Resiliency Program – Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation (RRP-CCAM), which aims to fight hunger and poverty and addressing climate-related challenges by tapping the community.
Currently, preparations and coordination are also underway in the provinces of Samar, Eastern Samar and Northern Samar.
