90 tech-voc graduates to work in EPSON Batangas

Some 90 program participants have qualified for employment in EPSON Batangas after completing the 25-day training in STEFTI Technical-Vocational Center. They will be assigned in the production department and will work in manufacturing and assembly of devices.

More than 41 thousand Yolanda survivors to get Php 5 K Presidential Assistance

After the initial distribution

of the Php 5 K financial assistance from the Office of the President in Tacloban last March, eligible Yolanda survivors from other parts of the region have now started receiving their cash grants. DSWD provides sustainable livelihood for lasting peace and order in communities

Some 160 male and female security guards graduated in the pre-licensing training through the Sustainable Livelihood Program of the Department of Social Welfare and Development.

In separate closing ceremonies,  85 male security guards and 15 lady guards of Llorente, Eastern Samar received their completion certificates last June 10, 2017,  while 48 male security guards and 12 lady guards in Leyte, Leyte, had theirs last June 13, 2017.
